BYS Trio, The Fourteeners, to play Chautauqua May 23, 2002Strings Summer Camp in August

The Boulder Youth Symphony Society will be conducting a one week intensive summer day camp for strings with an emphasis on playing in an orchestra environment. The Fourteeners is a talented trio of three Boulder Youth Symphony musicians. Annie Daigle, violin, and this season's concerto competition winner. Kim Bredehoft, cello, is last season's concerto competition winner. And Francesco Lecce-Chong, Piano, currently the assistant to Maestro Paige Vickery for the BJYS and Chamber Orchestras.

The Fourteeners will be performing in recital on Thursday, 23 May at 7:00PM, Chautauqua Park Recital Hall.

Program:

Beethoven's Third Piano Trio in C minor
Selections from a Brahms Sonata for Piano and Cello
Romanian Dances for Violin by Bartok
A Duet for Violin and Cello, Composed by: Francesco Lecce-Chong, Piano


BYS Musicians to Play Colorado Music Fest

Boulder Youth Symphony musicians will participate in a performance with the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra during the summer 2002 season.
